POB Sorting

A POB, or "pre-order benefit," is an exclusive item available only during the pre-order phase before an album's release. These POBs are separate from the album itself. When you pre-order an album from KPop Idol, you have the option to specify a member preference list in your order notes. Please ensure to list all members in order. Requests for the the most popular members only vastly reduces any chance of receiving a favourite alternate.

While this indicates your preferred member for the POB, it does not guarantee your top choice, but it is a special advantage of purchasing from KPop Idol.

Shipping

The delivery timeline for pre-orders may differ based on the dispatch dates from Korea or Japan. Generally, we anticipate all orders to reach KPop Idol within 4 to 6 weeks from the release date. After the pre-orders have been received in the UK, the usual dispatch time of 3 to 5 days will apply.

It's important to note that while an album might have a specific release date, the estimated shipping date could be a week or two later.

To help you stay informed about estimated arrival times, all product pages will display both the release date and the estimated arrival date.

For limited edition merchandise that is no longer available for sale, dispatch details can be found on the website's main page banner and on a pinned notice on our Instagram.

Should you not receive a dispatch email from KPop Idol within 6 weeks post-release, please reach out to us for an update. We are committed to keeping you informed about any shipping delays due to supplier issues through updates on Instagram, the main banner on our website, and via email notifications.

Customs

KPop Idol is not liable for any customs charges that may be incurred. It is advisable to consult your local customs office for information on import duties.

Dispatch Times

At KPop Idol, our current dispatch time is between 3-5 days. 

When you receive a dispatch email, it indicates that your item is ready for collection by Royal Mail. Dispatch emails sent on a Saturday mean your item will be collected on the following Monday. For dispatches during the week, Royal Mail will collect your item the next day. 

After your item has been collected by Royal Mail, it is beyond KPop Idol's control and is subject to Royal Mail's processing. 

We send all items via Second Class Signed For or Tracked48 services.

Shipping Costs

At KPop Idol, we utilize Royal Mail for parcel delivery. 

Our services include Second Class Signed For at £2.70 and Tracked48 at £3.70.

Packages weighing up to 100g are dispatched as a letter with Second Class Signed For. Parcels exceeding this weight are sent as Tracked48 small parcels.

The weight limit for a small parcel is 2kg. Parcels weighing more than 2kg are categorized as Heavy parcels.

Refunds and Returns

Thank you for your purchase. We hope that you are happy with your new K-pop purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason you may return it to us for a full refund only. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

RETURNS

All returns must be postmarked within 28 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.  

Unsealed items such as photocards are not included in the returns policy.

To start a return, contact returns@kpopidol.shop and quote your order number.

If your return is accepted, a return shipping label and address will be provided, along with instructions on returning your item.

We are unable to accept refunds for international customers currently.

REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return. Please allow at least 10 days from the receipt of your return to process. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

EXCEPTIONS

We are unable to offer a refund or return for damaged outboxes.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defection or damaged, or if you have received the wrong item.

We do recommend that you film an unboxing video as proof of the items condition when you received it.

If your album does have missing inclusions, we are unable to refund. This is due to the albums being factory sealed and sent from Korea.

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds on Pre Order Items

We are unable to provide a refund for pre-ordered items. Since these items are purchased upon request, we cannot cancel them if you change your mind.
