How Pre-Orders Work
Welcome Bestie đ
Pre-orders can feel a little confusing if you're new to K-Pop collecting.
Unlike items that are already sitting on a shelf, pre-orders are products that haven't been released yet.
That means there's a journey your order takes before it reaches KPHQ and then eventually arrives with you.
Let's follow the adventure â¨
đ Step 1: Place Your Order
When you place a pre-order, your item is reserved for you before release.
This is often the best way to secure:
- First press inclusions
- Pre-order benefits (POBs)
- Lucky draw events
- Limited stock releases
Once your order is placed, you can sit back and relax. I've got the rest covered đ
đ Step 2: Supplier Release Date
Every pre-order has a release date set by the entertainment company or supplier.
This is the date the album or merchandise officially becomes available in Korea.
It's important to remember that:
đ Release date does not mean delivery date
đ Products still need to travel internationally before reaching KPHQ
âď¸ Step 3: Travelling To The UK
Once released, your order begins its journey to us.
Depending on the supplier and shipping route, products may:
- Travel directly to KPHQ
- Pass through our warehouse partners
- Experience customs processing
This stage can vary from release to release.
Some items arrive quickly.
Others decide to take the scenic route around the world đ
Pre Orders will usually arrive to KPHQ within 6 weeks of release date.
đŚ Step 4: Arrives At KPHQ
The best update of all.
Your order has landed at KPHQ!
At this stage we:
đ Receive deliveries
đ Check stock
đ Sort inclusions
đ Organise customer orders
đ Prepare everything for dispatch
đ Step 5: Packed With Love
This is where the magic happens.
Your order is carefully packed by Ana and prepared for shipment.
Every order receives the same level of care, whether you've ordered one photocard or a giant comeback haul.
đ Step 6: On Its Way To You
You'll receive dispatch confirmation once your order leaves KPHQ.
From there, your parcel begins its final journey home.
đ Common Questions
Why hasn't my order shipped on release day?
Release day refers to the supplier release date in Korea.
Products still need to travel internationally before reaching KPHQ.
What if my order contains multiple pre-orders?
Your order will usually ship once all items are available.
This helps keep shipping costs fair and avoids splitting orders unnecessarily.
Can release dates change?
Unfortunately yes.
Entertainment companies and suppliers occasionally delay releases.
If this happens, we'll update the tracker as soon as we receive confirmed information.
